The presentation aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) by exploring its definition, diagnostic criteria, prevalence, and demographic considerations. It will differentiate BDD from related conditions and highlight common co-morbidities. Attendees will learn to recognize the symptoms and characteristics of BDD for accurate diagnosis and evaluation across various healthcare settings, including general practice and cosmetic surgery.
